Rhoda Macdonald

Rhoda Macdonald is one of the UK’s most experienced communications consultants. She joined H/Advisors Cicero as Senior Counsel in September of 2023. Previously she was a partner at WA Communications and a Senior Director at Hanover Communications.

Over the course of her career, she has won the PR Week Public Affairs Campaign of the Year and the Public Affairs News Freelancer of the Year Award. She has advised clients in a wide range of sectors such as Food & Drink, Financial Services, Transport, Defence, Energy and Health. Former clients include Airbus, BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, Rolls Royce, Saab and Idemia.

Before moving into agency, she worked as a special advisor to the Secretary of State for Scotland during the last Labour Government and spent the previous 20 years working in the media, as a programme presenter, journalist and producer. In that time, she won numerous awards, including a Bafta for Best Documentary.
