Mairi Maclennan

Mairi is a Partner in the UK Public Affairs team, working primarily with financial services clients. Her current clients include Barclays, BNY Mellon, abrdn, MarketAxess, Lloyd’s of London, Dell and The Oversight Board. She advises clients on political and regulatory developments, specialising in sustainability, international affairs, and the Union.

Mairi leads the H/Advisors Cicero charity partnership programme, which provides a range of pro-bono public affairs and communications support to the company’s annually selected charity. She is an active member of her local Constituency Labour Party and Labour in the City.

Before joining H/Advisors Cicero Mairi spent five years working at TheCityUK. While there, she led the financial and related professional services industry’s post-Brexit European engagement, regularly travelling to Brussels and EU Member States to discuss regulatory and market access issues. She also supported the industry’s activity ahead of COP26, UK G7 Presidency and Italian G20 Presidencies. Prior to this, Mairi worked for the American Chamber of Commerce in the UK working on transatlantic trade issues. She started her career at the Scottish Government in Edinburgh.
