Ed is a corporate communications specialist with more than a decade of experience advising organisations across sectors including, financial and professional services, healthcare, retail, government and the third sector. He works with clients to design and deliver research driven communications strategies, drawing on stakeholder insight, data analysis and market intelligence to shape campaigns that influence debate and support organisational objectives. Ed is particularly experienced in helping clients use evidence-based thought leadership to articulate complex issues, strengthen their positioning, and engage priority audiences through integrated communications and public affairs activity.

Ed’s thought leadership experience spans the development of research programmes and insight driven reports. He helps organisations translate complex data into compelling narratives, ensuring research is used effectively to shape public conversation, inform policy discussions and support commercial objectives. His work extends across sectors where ideas, expertise and professional knowledge differentiate organisations, and where evidence-based storytelling is essential to building trust.

In addition to his work on research and thought leadership campaigns, Ed brings experience in crisis communications, issues management and organisational transformation. He has supported clients through high profile public policy challenges, advising senior leaders on how to navigate regulatory scrutiny, reputational risk and periods of significant operational change. Ed has also led long term brand repositioning programmes, guiding organisations through moments of strategic transition and helping them tell clear, confident stories about their purpose and impact.

Prior to joining H/Advisors, Ed spent ten years at an independent communications consultancy, where he delivered external communications strategies for high profile clients, provided senior counsel to partners and executive teams, and oversaw major campaigns. He continues to be motivated by the opportunity to help organisations communicate with clarity, credibility and impact.
